Do you want a dog, but travel a lot on the weekends??? Tasha is 10 years old and her new mom needs help keeping her with her family. A woman named Pat contacted us for help, she is a flight attendant and is out of the country on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday every week. Tasha is her mom's dog and her mom ended up in an assisted living facility where she can not have Tasha. Pat promised her mom that she would keep Tasha for the rest of her life and take care of her, she just needs someone who is willing to foster her while she is gone every week. She will pay for all of Tasha's expenses, including any veterinary care, and will provide a crate, bed, food, etc... all she needs is someone to love Tasha and keep her safe 3 days a week while she works. She will also be taking Tasha for visits with her mom so that she can see her beloved dog. Please let us know if you are willing to provide a home for Tasha as a 'shared foster'. Serious inquiries only please. You will be asked to fill in an application and have a home visit. Please contact Thank you fr helping this old girl stay with her family!

About Pick Me! Pet Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Pick Me! is a pet rescue dedicated to helping pets in need. We feel that the best way to get a pet a new home is to list them on an adoption site and follow a proven, standard process to approve a new home for them. We list dogs that we are currently fostering and dogs that we are not fostering ourselves, through 'courtesy posts' so that they will get the second chance they need through sites like adopt-a-pet to find a wonderful new family. Every dog that we adopt will have it's current vaccines, be spayed or neutered, microchipped, and be on regular flea and heart worm preventive.

Our Adoption Process...

The procedures for an adoption are as follows:
1. Contact the listed email address for an application.
2. Fill in the application completely and return it.
3. The director processes the application, which may take a few days, and will then confer with the foster parent. The foster parent or director will then contact the applicant.
4. Telephone interview - Q & A about the match.
5. Home visit - every household member should be present.
6. Adoption - if everything goes well it can be the day of the visit. This is when the fee would be donated and all of the paperwork would be signed.
