Buster's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Buster's Story...
Buster was quite the daredevil dashing in and out of traffic on Tonganoxie, but that was not likely to have a good outcome. Lucky for him, a LCHS, Inc. volunteer was passing by and stopped to see if he could help this young fellow. And so Buster came to us. No one claimed him (we can’t see why!), so now he’s up for adoption. Buster is about a year old, energetic & strong. He’s very good about keeping his kennel clean, enjoys walks, car rides, and the dog park! He can find a chew toy or a cookie no matter where you put it.

Standard adoption fee for dogs is $125, which helps to cover the costs of care provided and allows us to continue our work. Email LvnCoHS@live.com for application and additional information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buster, a Lansing Beagle/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Australian Shepherd for sale in Lansing, or seeking a Beagle/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Lansing.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lansing already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lansing breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Beagle/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lansing paves the way for another one to be saved.
