Darcy is a handsome fella with a mostly laid back personality. He is the type of dog who likes to find His Person in the house, and then stick with him or her. As long as he has that special person to bond with, he's good. Just reserve him a spot on the couch.
We don't know much about Darcy's history, but he seems to have had some moderate training. He is house trained and crate trained, though he can't always be left free in the house for long periods of time without an accident.
He is pretty good on the leash. He gets himself revved up to go, but settles in. That is generally how Darcy operates. He has a bit of a heart murmur, so he gets really excited about things for five minutes, and then he's good. It is all the excitement he can handle.
The perfect home for Darcy would be one where there is some form of company in it most of the time. He is friendly with most people and dogs, even if he does not hold them all in the high esteem he affords His Person. We have not observed him around kids or cats. He will need a couple of short walks a day, and he would adore a yard. He loves lazing about outside. APA! can give you the necessary information about his heart murmur.
Darcy will add a regal touch to any sofa, and a lot of love to any home. Come meet him!
