Facts about Izzy

  • Breed: Jack Russell Terrier
  • Color: White - With Brown Or Chocolate
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Female
Izzy was adopted by a person who bit off more than she was able to handle. She agreed to foster Izz, fell in love, adopted her and dumped her back on us when the novelty wore off. Izzy is a 9 year old JRT who doesn't act her age. She is fun & playful and altho she is older, still has lots of love to give (and balls to catch). She LOVES to play fetch and her new foster mom reports that if you stop throwing her ball, she will pick up the closest rock and bring it to you to continue the game. She gets along with the other dogs in the home and is quite affectionate when you get her to settle down. Izzy is completely vetted, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and even had a recent dental. Won't you open your heart and home to this silly girl? Please submit an online application located at www.allstar.petfinder.com if you are interested in meeting this pretty miss. You do need to live within 50 miles of Linden, NJ so one of our volunteers can do a home visit with Izzy.

About All Star Pet Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

All Star Pet Rescue is an all volunteer, non-profit, no-kill organization formed in April 2006. We don’t have a facility & are comprised solely of foster homes for homeless pets. Our mission is to network with other shelters & rescue groups to take in animals needing a new start. We don’t discriminate based on breed, age or health status & only place the animals in loving & responsible homes. We also work to educate the public about the benefit of spaying or neutering their animals & the usefulness of micro-chipping.

We receive no public funding & count on animal lovers to help provide the medical care & supplies necessary for the health, safety & comfort of our rescues. Monetary donations are always needed & greatly appreciated. It’s because of monies donated that we’re able to continue our work for the animals. We’re a recognized 501c3 organization so your donations are tax deductible.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our adoptable pups are all in foster care so arrangements need to be made to meet them. Please contact us at allstarpets@comcast.net or better yet, submit an online application located at www.allstar.petfinder.com. We will be in touch to make an appointment to bring the pet to meet you.

Our Adoption Process...

We do have an adoption fee which goes right back to the animals for food, medical treatment, etc. Yo do have to sign a contract. We also do have certain requirements when placing our animals, some are general & some can be based on the situation.
