Facts about Misty

  • Breed: Pony - Other/Quarterhorse Mix
  • Color: Bay
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Small
  • Sex: Female
Misty is an 18 year old, 13.2-13.3 hand, QH/Morgan Pony Cross Mare. She is as sweet as can be and loves people. Misty is barefoot & sound, healthy, and happy, a wonderful companion pony. She is easy to catch; comes in from across the field when you call her name. She is easy to halter, lead, tie, groom, fly spray, fly mask, blanket, bathe, and handle feet. She is patient with the vet and farrier, and kind to other horses & children. Misty is blind in her right eye, but totally bombproof on the ground. She sustained a left front suspensory ligament injury in 2014 and is best suited as a loving companion pony for a lonely farm animal or for a senior citizen or person who does not ride horses but adores grooming, petting and loving on them. Misty is current on all vaccines, dewormer, hoof trims, & teeth float. She is available for adoption by contract through Animal Guardians Horse Rescue, Inc. for a minimum tax-deductible donation of $650 - More would be gratefully accepted, to be used towards the care of our other unadoptable senior horses with special needs in permanent sanctuary retirement with our program. Misty is looking for her forever loving home. Contact us for more information or to receive an Adoption Application by email - http://animalguardianshorserescuenetwork.webs.com.
