Ashe's Story...
*Single male chinchilla
*Born approximately 2/2016
-Ashe is a very cool boy. As you can tell from the video, he's a little skittish about handling and being petted but he is super inquisitive and really wants to be with people. I think with a little work, he'll get used to lots of attention and handling and will do great in a real home! He's definitely a very sweet boy. We do not recommend chinchillas for children of any age, so an adults only home for him. Chinchillas require multiple level cages, lots of chew toys, and lots of activity! Please ready up on dietary needs and caging prior to adoption. Adoption fee is $50

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ashe, a Edinburg Chinchilla was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chinchilla for sale in Edinburg, or seeking a Chinchilla from a breeder in Edinburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edinburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edinburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chinchilla breeders who help with Chinchilla rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edinburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
