Anne is doing excellent in his foster with Red the chihuahua. They are best of friends and we would like to see them get adopted together. We will do a special adoption fee of $200 for the pair to keep these two together and will even consider foster to adopt for the right home. We do believe that they will do better together when transitioning from their foster home. You do need to have a securely fenced yard, but if you have been looking for two small dogs, please consider giving these two a home together.
Anne is a very friendly possible Spaniel, Chihuahua, Terrier mix. We were told that she is about 2 years old, but we do think she is more like 5-6 years old. Anne was Heartworm Positive and treated, but will need another blood test in about 6 months. Anne did also have severe dental disease, so we did do a dental on her. She was very thin when she first arrived, but is much better now. Anne is spayed, microchipped, up to date with vaccines and Lyme negative. Her adoption fee is $200.00. If you would like to adopt Anne, please visit our website www.LHARinc.org go to Adopt and complete the dog adoption application.
update from foster mom: Anne has settled in nicely and is housetrained. She would do best in a home with no small children as she gets Barky and jumpy when a lot of chaos happens. She tends to bond closely with 1 person. She does get along well with dogs in her foster home but she is a little quirky and can get into their space. She is a more dominant personality with them but really just wants to play. So an easygoing friend would be best. Not cat tested. Does not like bunny or Guinea pig. Secure Fenced yard required.
