GUS's Story...
Hi there! The name is Gus. I'm about 7-8 years old and was rescued from a puppymill. I'm adjusting nicely to the home life now and I'm mostly housebroken but I do have some vision problems. I really like exploring my foster mom's yard and I'm good with dogs, cats, and kids! Can you welcome me into your home?

If you would like to show Gus what it feels like to be loved, please complete an application. Email info@thelastdorescue.org with any questions. Please be patient as we are an volunteer organization and will respond as quickly as possible. Thank you

Why Adoption is a Great Option

GUS, a Red Lion Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Red Lion, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Red Lion.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Red Lion already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Red Lion breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Red Lion paves the way for another one to be saved.
