PRINCE's Story...
Hello everyone! My name is Prince and I am bonded with Phoebe. I have to take care of her, see she has vision issues and is very small, well so am I but we really need to stay together. I'm a good boy and would love to be in my own home with my sister Phoebe. We are both very sweet and will love you for a while. We are both active! But settle quickly.

Would you consider 2 dogs???? Our adoption fee is lower due to being older and Phoebe having vision issues.

If you would like to show Prince and Phoebe what it feels like to be loved, please complete an application. Email info@thelastdorescue.org with any questions. Please be patient as we are an volunteer organization and will respond as quickly as possible. Thank you

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PRINCE, a Red Lion Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Red Lion, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Red Lion.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Red Lion already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Red Lion breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Red Lion paves the way for another one to be saved.
