Jill-Tabby Litter's Story...
Jack and Jill are shepherd mix pups, who were born around April 2008. They were found in the Spring area. They are outdoor pups and they LOVE water! They are very happy healthy and playful. They get along great with other dogs, cats, and children. The foster would love to keep them, but already has 2 dogs. They are being trained to walk on a leash and are getting better everyday! Jill is more mellow than Jack, but are both equally loving. They love to splash around in their kiddie pool and when they are done, they sit on the swing and relax. Update - Jack was adopted on 9/6. Come take Jill for a walk at Petco Humble on FM 1960 just east of Hwy 59 on weekends 12-4:30 and see if she is a match for your family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jill-Tabby Litter, a Humble German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Humble, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Humble.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Humble already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Humble breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Humble paves the way for another one to be saved.
