Annette's Story...
" Annette is a gentle 2 year old 35 lbs house trained lab mix. She is very quiet, a little timid, does not bark, loves to snuggle and ride in the car (she even tries to sit on your lap and help you drive 😁) She loves to sleep as close as possible in bed with you and she's great with other dogs. If you are looking for a quiet and very loving dog to share your life with then Annette is the one for you. We would love for Annette to have another friendly sweet and confident dog in her furever home." Annette is spayed, up to date with age appropriate vaccines, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $375. We require adopters to have a fully fenced yard, not electric fence. For more information and application to adopt please visit gimmeshelteranimalrescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Annette, a Sagaponack Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Sagaponack, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Sagaponack.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sagaponack already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sagaponack breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sagaponack paves the way for another one to be saved.
