Rascal's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Rascal's Story...
Rascal is a 7 year old outgoing male tabby cat looking for a new home. He has had an interesting life. He was once the “shelter” cat before being adopted into a home. Now that he is losing his home, Rascal would prefer not to go back to the shelter.

Rascal is good with other cats, dogs (who don’t chase him too much) and humans. He currently shares his home with a female cat named Shasta who he is hoping to be adopted with. You see, Shasta is a little on the shyer side and Rascal helps her feel more comfortable……he’s just that kind of a guy.

This affectionate and curious cat is looking for a forever home that will give him lots of snuggles and playtime. He will reward you with a lifetime of love.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rascal, a Aurora Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Aurora, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Aurora.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aurora already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aurora breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aurora paves the way for another one to be saved.
