My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is a courtesy post:
Simba is a 10 year old black and brown domestic short hair female. She has a brother Turtle who is also a 10 year old black and brown domestic short hair male also posted on this site. It would be nice to get them adopted together, but it's not necessary.

Simba and Turtle are both very affectionate and loving lap cats. They lived together for 9 years inside the Stockton Family Homeless Shelter. They were wonderful therapy cats to the staff and residents. But one sad day, a new director who wasn't even on the site, demanded that they be tossed out. THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN OUTDOORS.

My name is Esther Hwang (www.esther.com) and I am President of Pandora's Hope Foundation (www.pandorashope.org) and I have personally seen and experienced how remarkable these cats are. Trained as true therapy cats, Simba and her brother Turtle have a great deal of experience being supportive to someone's emotional needs. They can feel your pain, empathize with someone's loss or sadness. They truly are intuitive, loving, giving, and beautiful cats that can help better a person's life both emotionally and psychologically. They will sit next to you for long hours and give you comfort and companionship I have never experienced before because of their unique background.

WE ARE LOOKING NOW FOR PERMANENT FOSTERS for Simba and Turtle. Meaning, we would take care of their medical bills, food, and whatever else you may need for them. They are just darling and sweet cats who deserve to live the rest of their lives with people who will enjoy and love them. We will be the permanent owners of Simba and Turtle but we need you to take them in and be their permanent fosters. Ideally, they would be great for a senior care home or something similar. They have so much more life and love in them to share. Won't you open your hearts and home to these cats who will give you back ten-folds what you do for them?
