Tippy is about a year old and is a border collie pit bull terrier mix. Tippy gets his name from the Border Collie's typical "Shepherd's Lantern" or white tip of his tail. Tippy was found as a stray wandering around Southern Missouri. This cute boy is a snuggler and would love nothing more than to cuddle up on your lap for the night. While a little shy at first, he warms up quickly to anyone willing to give him a few pats. He adores all people and kids. He also gets along great with other dogs. Tippy would be a great addition to any home!

Tippy is also in need of a foster home closer to the Columbia Missouri area. Currently, he lives so far away that it is difficult for him to make it to adoption events to potentially meet his new family!

About ARFF MO

About Our Rescue Group...

ARFF MO's mission is to promote public safety through education about responsible pet care as an alternative to banning breeds of dogs. We focus on education, legislation, and rescue to accomplish our goals. We rescue Pit Bull type dogs that are on "death row" due to breed specific legislation from the Fayette Dog Pound., We try to help other local dogs affected by BSL when possible. ARFF MO was created after the Fayette City Council passed a Pit Bull ban in Feb. 2009. We post pictures of our re-homed "death row dogs" on our website to educate the public about the true nature of these unfairly targeted for eradication pets.
