Location: Philadelphia, PA
Nicknames: Doy-Doy, Doyle Ling-Ling, Panda
Good with other dogs?: He can be! Doyle just needs a little bit of time and slow intros. He does very well with all 3 resident dogs at his foster home. He has done great with the super calm, super cool male who has been teaching Doyle the ropes.
Good with cats? unknown, will not be adopted to a home with a cat
Good with children? yes
Activity Preference: Will go with the flow
Doyle's favorite things: Doyle is super easy. He doesn't ask for anything. He loves a good bone. Just loves to be with you.
Doyle is good at: meeting people, staying in a crate, behaving in the house, going for car rides, making me feel safe, walking on a leash, cuddling, playing, catching balls/frisbee, following commands.
Ideal home: a fenced yard, experienced owner with loads of love
Training Needs: other: Keep working with Doyle to let him know other dogs are not a threat. Let him know you are there to protect him and keep his space safe. He is a quick learner. He likes to learn and enjoys being with his human.
This tall, baby-faced, gentle, good boy sure does get loads of attention. Doyle is just so beautiful outside and in! He is a big love. He hasn't met a human he doesn't love. His genuine love of people shows instantly.
He's a good listener, loves car rides (doesn't hog the radio), likes to go for a nice walk or two, and will hang out around the yard or house with you while you do your thing. Doyle is affectionate and loves to spend time with you but isn't a needy guy. He does amazing in a crate and is totally house trained. His big paws and lanky legs remind me of a puppy when he is being playful and silly. He seems like an awkward little pup. It melts my heart. He is pretty smart too.
Doyle is really just a nice dog and so good. He is a treasure!
