Hello. My name is Angel and my foster mom says that my name fits me perfectly because I am such a good girl! She also calls me a special girl because I only have one eye. Earlier this year, my family left me in a crate for a very, very long time. I was SO hungry and thirsty and REALLY had to go to the bathroom, so I tried to get out--I don't like to have accidents! Well, somehow I got my head stuck where the metal caught on my eye, and destroyed it. It REALLY hurt, but I tried not to show it and everyone remarked about how sweet I was throughout the whole ordeal. My friends at the clinic and Radford Pound Pals fixed me right up and I am a happy, healthy, playful girl now! I get along just fine, though and the vet says I am a healthy, 1 year-old puppy and I'm a perfect size, at about 45 pounds. While I do like other animals, I can sometimes be startled on my blind side so care must be taken, especially if I'm eating. If you'd love to adopt me as your forever buddy, please write firstname.lastname@example.org for an application. I'm up to date on all vet care and ready to join your family!
