Dandy's Story...
Hi! I'm Dandy and about 3 years old! And dandy, I am! Spectacular, even! I'm sweet as can be!

I had a bit of a rough start to life, living all alone on the streets with some yucky germs, but I'm all fixed up now and ready to find my furever home!

I really like to be held and cuddled, I'm a petite girl, so I fit in your arms just perfect! Do you have other dogs I can play with?! That would be so much fun!! Oh my gosh, I'm so excited to meet you and play! What about kisses? Do you like those?! Because I sure like to give them! Some older kiddos to throw me the ball would be awesome too! I'm currently working on my outside potty training and foster mom says I'm doing really good, but in the mean time I know how to use the pads just fine!

Hurry! Ask for me! I'm trying to wait patiently for you, but I'm just so excited to find you!

Dandy's adoption fee is $300

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dandy, a Rochester Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
