This sweet boy was thrown out of a truck at 5 weeks old with 8 of his brothers and sisters. The man that saw it gathered them up and took them back to his barn where he and his family ran a horse camp for girls. The girls of course went nuts over the puppies and 4 of them went home with campers at the end of the week. They called us to take the last 5. Buddy is sweet as can be and is happy and playful all the time! And what a kissie face! He has a great temperament and so handsome and shiny! We DNA tested one of the pups and mom is a cocker mix and dad is a boxer mix. Buddy turned out looking more like dad. He is neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on all his shots. All he needs now is a loving family. He has not been around cats but at this age, he will be easy to train. If you would like to add this deserving boy to your family, please contact lorainecm@comcast.net or omlc7@hotmail.com

About One More Last Chance - NY Chapter

About Our Rescue Group...

One More Last Chance is a volunteer organization committed to saving as many dogs as possible in the east TN area and getting them into safe, loving homes.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our dogs are located in TN so it is not possible to meet your new pet prior to adoption.

Our Adoption Process...

Email omlc7@hotmail.com to request an adoption application. Once we receive your complete application, an adoption counselor will contact you, usually within 48 hours of receipt of the application. If pet is still available, we will do a phone interview. During the adoption interview, the adoption counselor will tell you more about the puppy and our adoption processes, as well as answer any questions you have. Dogs and puppies are up-to-date on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered, de-wormed, treated for fleas/ticks and heartworm negative before leaving rescue. You will receive complete medical records for your dog or puppy at the time of adoption. The adoption fee is $500 and covers the cost of all veterinary care and transportation to your area. Our dogs and puppies are delivered via a USDA-certified van transport and receive an Interstate Health Certificate -- issue by a licensed, accredited veterinarian -- no more than 10 days before the dog or puppy leaves rescue. All of our dogs and puppies come into rescue from the "death row" of animal shelters in the south, or are owner surrenders or strays who were "pound bound" before coming into rescue. Adopting a dog or puppy from the One More Last Chance Rescue means you are truly part of a partnership to save the life of the dog or puppy that you welcome into your family. Our dogs and puppies are fostered at our rescue in Tennessee, meaning that it isn't possible to meet the dog or puppy before adoption. Our adoption counselor works with you to do everything possible to ensure that there is a good match between the family and the dog. We have had several hundred dogs adopted using this process and we have a very high success rate for a happy outcome. If for any reason an adoption is not successful, OMLC will work with the adopter to find the best possible solution for the dog and the adopting family. We can provide contact information for adopters in your area who can tell you about their experience partnering with the OMLC to save the life of a dog and make the animal a part of their family. We look forward to hearing from you and working with you to find the right dog for your family!
