Nubs's Story...
If you want a fun-loving kitten who loves to be cuddled, Nubs is the boy for you! His darling bob-tail gives him added personality – round and fuzzy on his back side, with no worries of his tail getting caught under a rocking chair, accidentally stepped on, or shut in a door. This precious boy has a spunky, playful spirit – sweet, silly, and energetic - yet he enjoys being held on his back, having his belly rubbed, and being toted around. Nubs loves people and other cats - always ready for a new adventure! With confidence to spare, Nubs will acclimate easily to any household. About 5 months old and fully vetted, Nubs is ready to find his FORever home. Is that with you?

Nubs is currently in a foster home in Huntsville, AL. If you would like to talk with the foster parent and learn more about Nubs, please email info@FORrescue.net. You may also complete the application at www.FORrescue.net and get things started! It isn't binding, it's simply a starting point. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nubs, a Knoxville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
