Remi is a beautiful 5 month old Mastiff/Bully mix who weighs just about 50lbs! She is going to be a very big dog when she is older and will need some room to run. We have had Remi in our program since she was just a week old, we pulled her from a shelter just 20 minutes before being euthanized and nursed her back to life! She has grown up in a foster home with other dogs and cats and has been extremely well socialized. Remi knows multiple commands like sit, stay, down, kennel, up, etc. She is fully potty trained and crate trained as well. Remi is a BIG snuggler and would do great as a therapy dog or even a service dog. She is incredibly smart and very treat driven. Remi would do great in a home by herself, but would do best in a home with other dogs because she absolutely loves to play. Remi is also currently in need of a new foster home, so if you are interested in fostering or adopting this sweet girl please email us at

About Bluebelle's Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

In August 2014, Bluebelle's Rescue formed to counteract the ever-growing stray dog population. We formed out of the pure desire to help animals in need. We are a board of 5 women who all have full time jobs and lives, but we work diligently and endlessly to save as many dogs as we can. We first began by developing feeding routes out in the neighborhoods, which are most commonly populated with stray dogs. Our objective is to have a volunteer drive the route daily feeding the dogs in which we cannot pick up and bring into the rescue at that time. Due to the massive amount of stray dogs in this area, we prioritize whom we pick up by their medical status; meaning we primarily pick up the severely sick, pregnant, young, or suffering. We have taken in dogs that have unfortunately been hit by a car, have suffered parvovirus or distemper, were the product of severe neglect, unwanted litters and mothers left to die, and dogs so broken and lost that some would consider being "feral". Once we pull a dog off the street, the dog is immediately seen by our veterinarian and then placed into an adequate foster home until ready to be adopted.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We most commonly have events outside of Erma's Nutriton Center located at 18045 Upper Bay Road, Houston, Texas 77058 on Saturday's from 11AM-3PM. We make weekly announcements on our website and Facebook page to notify our followers if we will or will not be having an event that weekend.

Because our rescue is entirely foster based, we do not have a shelter location. All of our dogs are in foster homes in order to more adequately prepare them for transitioning into an adoptive home. If you would like to meet one of our dogs, please contact us via email and we will set up a meet and greet between you and the foster!

Our Adoption Process...

Our Adoption Process is as follows:

1. You will first submit an application, we will respond to your email with a confirmation that we received the your application.
2. We will process you application. This includes calling your vet reference as well as personal references.
3. If all checks out, we will schedule a meet and greet and a home check.
4. If the meet and greet goes well, as does the home check, you will then begin your two week trial period.
5. At the end of the two weeks we will finalize the adoption.

The adopter will be required to pay an adoption fee ($200 for puppies under the age of 6 months old who have not been spayed/neutered with a $50 refund once the rescue is provided proof of spay/neuter at 6 months of age, and $150 for dogs older than 6 months of age who have been spayed/neutered) and sign an adoption contract. If the adopter is adopting a puppy under the age of 6 months who has not been spayed/neutered they will be required to sign a spay/neuter contract stating that they are required to provide the rescue with documentation of alteration before the puppy turns 6 months of age.
