My foster mom will discuss my future shots needs with my new forever home. My adoption donation fee is $375.

Hello! My name is Bandit. I’m a puppy at Puppy Pals Rescue. I was born on July 16th and only weighed 6.6 oz. My last weigh-in was August 31 and I weighed 3.11 lbs. I am the first boy and the third born of four puppies. Puppy Pals is not sure of my breed mix. My mom is Pokey and my dad is Freckles – their pictures are on the website as they are looking for forever homes too. (My mom was already pregnant when Puppy Pals took her in.) My hair is white and I have black spots like my mom and dad. I resemble my dad in the face, but have my mom’s textured coat.

I am somewhat dominant over all my siblings. I was double in size to most of them at birth. (I am a future tackle for the Cincinnati Bengals!) I have been the leader since day one. I love to try to climb and I am an adventurer. My sister, Melanie, and I like to try new things. I’m the first one at the food bowl and if not, you better move out of my way. I like to carry toys around and tease my siblings. I am the smart one!

I enjoy playing with toys now and trying to keep my siblings in line. We are getting to go outside and enjoy running around exploring. I am having a great time being a puppy. I love my foster momma very much, but it’s time that I grow up and find a family of my own. Is it possible… that you might be my new family?

A note from Puppy Pals: We keep all our puppies until they are 9-10 weeks old before they are adopted. Staying with siblings until this age makes them more socialized with other dogs and people.

If you have any questions please contact my foster mom at the link found at Fill out an application if you are interested in adopting me - you can find those at (Email my foster home and let them know you applied so they can be sure the application is received! )

I just can't wait to find a forever home! Thanks!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bandit, a Beavercreek Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Beavercreek, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Beavercreek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Beavercreek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Beavercreek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Beavercreek paves the way for another one to be saved.
