Rocky is the cutest boy ever. He is in a foster home with 2 Rottweilers and is doing great. Rocky is the luckiest boy! He was slated for euthanasia and his foster mom stepped up so he was saved. This beautiful neutered, heartworm negative boy must have someone out there waiting for him. If it is YOU please call 318-471-0546 and fill out the online adoption questionnaire on the NHS's website under the adoption tab. www.natchitocheshumane.com

Come Meet Our Pets...
Our animals are all fully vetted & microchipped. Animals available for adoption are generally housed either at the Natchitoches Humane Society's Happy Tails Rescue located on the grounds of the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center or in foster homes around the parish. If you would like to meet one of our animals, please email us at Natchitocheshumane@yahoo.com with contact information and someone will be in touch to set up a time. If you would like to be pre-approved for adoption you can fill out an application online at our website www.natchitocheshumane.com under the adoption tab.
Our Adoption Process...
We require completion of an adoption application and will require an adoption fee and a signed contract upon adoption. We may make home visits. We reserve the right to dissolve the adoption and seize the pet should a home visit prove the animal is in an undesirable or unsafe situation.

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter!
Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures,
