My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tuna is a beautiful Chartreux kitty that as of 9/1/17 is approximately 10 weeks' of age. She, her mother, and her 3 brothers were rescued from Van Nuys by a lovely family who are now fostering them until they can find their forever home. Tuna is a shy but very sweet girl. We showed her at adoptions for the first time yesterday and we held her for almost the entire day; she just loved it and did not even attempt to get away. She needs a little more work, but I know eventually with the right person, she will be the most loving and affectionate kitty. She has been exposed to 2 small kitty-friendly dogs and she was not terribly thrilled but we believe eventually will adapt as she gains her self-confidence. Save A Kitty, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) kitty rescue. Our adoption process is as follows: We require a completed application (please go to: http://www.saveakittyca.org/adoption-application.html), a home check, and an adoption fee (with the amount depending upon the kitty). We will also discount the adoption fee, if an individual adopts 2 kitties at the same time. All of our kitties have been quarantined for a minimum of 15 days, had their shots, been tested for FIV/FELV, given parasite treatment, and will be spayed/neutered before being placed into their forever home.
