Cassie very intelligent watches everything her foster mom does and wants to be part of it. She watches carefully when she talks to her, loves to chase her ball and play tug of war. Very athletic jumps very high when playing. Is a very joyful dog who tries to please and sit on command. Cassie will add joy and fun to any family with her loving ways. She is about 9 months old

Our animals are all fully vetted & microchipped. Animals available for adoption are generally housed either at the Natchitoches Humane Society's Happy Tails Rescue located on the grounds of the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center or in foster homes around the parish. If you would like to meet one of our animals, please email us at with contact information and someone will be in touch to set up a time. If you would like to be pre-approved for adoption you can fill out an application online at our website under the adoption tab.

Our Adoption Process...

We require completion of an adoption application and will require an adoption fee and a signed contract upon adoption. We may make home visits. We reserve the right to dissolve the adoption and seize the pet should a home visit prove the animal is in an undesirable or unsafe situation.
