Tuffy's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with kids.

Tuffy's Story...
Tuffy appears to be shy but is actually an energetic 2-year-old once he settles in. Tuffy is very smart, loves to leap after bird toys, and is a chatterbox when food is involved. He anticipates where the chase toy might end up and knows a human is making it move. He likes tall scratching posts, birdwatching, and tall cat trees. He is curious about water faucets, heating vents, and open closets. He likes his space and may do best as an only cat. He is kind of goofy and will sprawl on top of, behind, or beside a person and doesn't always get on the lap.

He may do best in an adult only home or a home with older children.

All adoptable pets have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. For more information about adoption, please contact Camp Companion at 507-951-7801, www.campcompanion.org, or find us on Facebook!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tuffy, a Rochester Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
