Talia's Story...
ADOPTION PENDING**
Talia is sweet 2 year old female Doberman that was an owner surrender to DTDR because they didn't have enough time for her. She was in a crate most of the day and night. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped. She's a well-behaved girl that loves people and kids. She gets along well with other dogs after slow introductions. Talia loves to go for walks and does very well with her gentle leader. She is missing the hair on her neck due to the shocking from invisible fence, (just one of the many reason we don't allow this type fencing), so she will need a fenced-in yard. She's a velcro-Dobe and she's very smart, food motivated, and loves to learn. Talia is potty trained and crated trained and protective of her house and yard.. She is being fostered in Indianapolis, In and she is available for adoption. We adopt to Indiana and the directly surrounding states. For more information on the adoption process and applications, go to www.DedicatedtoDobes.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Talia, a Lafayette Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Lafayette, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Lafayette.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lafayette already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lafayette breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lafayette paves the way for another one to be saved.
