Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If you thought you had the traits of a pug pegged, throw them out the window with this little girl. Sure, our Grace still exhibits all of the wonderful qualities of a Pug (she is hilarious, adorable, snorty and always happy) but there really isn't a lazy bone in her body and she is only a wee 12lbs -- tiny for a Pug! Don't get us wrong, after a good romp around the yard, Grace loves to lay down and press her belly into the cool grass but you better believe, she isn't resting until she has had her fill of running and playing. Once inside, she is happy to throw her toys into the air, catch them and pounce on them but only at the end of the day is she ready to settle in for cuddle time. Don't worry, that doesn't mean this lovebug isn't giving out kisses throughout the day. After waiting for her family who continuously claimed they were coming to retrieve her from a high kill shelter but never did, we named her Amazing Grace because of her perseverance. Sadly, while Gracie waited patiently, she also contracted pneumonia. Once we rescued her though, amazingly, Grace quickly made a full recovery and was ready for her new life. Our 6 year old busy bee's smile and curly tongue (and corkscrew tail too) has been stealing the hearts of everyone she meets ever since. Grace would be happy to share her home with other dogs but would be just as content with an active family all to herself. Ample toys are a must and a family who likes to take short hikes and would consider a doggy pack for when Gracie's short nose doesn't allow her to go any further would be an amazing match. Miss Grace is crate training, housebroken (a transition period should always be expected), spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and micrchipped.
