Foster / Foster-to-Adopt Needed
This is a courtesy listing for a family in Lakeview, Oregon. Susie's health and temperament cannot be guaranteed by Ginger's Pet Rescue and if you have further questions about her, we will connect you with her current owners for more information. Ginger's Pet Rescue will assist in Susie's transport, IF possible. We are eager to help re-home this girl so as to avoid her ending up in a shelter!
S usie is an adorable, sweet-faced Australian Shepherd mix, possibly w/ Chow Chow, small to medium sized, currently in her golden years at about 10-years-old. Susie's current owners are needing to surrender her as she is displaying nervousness around their young grandchildren and nipping them in moments of excitement/anxiousness. Susie has lived with a senior couple and adults her whole life and had not been socialized with children, which has resulted in this behavior. She currently lives in a house with other dogs and cats, and has been reported to be friendly with them. She is also friendly with most adults as well as older children, but will sometimes shy away from the occasional individual (no aggression). She will make a great addition to a small family without any young children/grandchildren!
Susie is spayed, micro-chipped, and reportedly up-to-date on her vaccinations.
