My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lotus
DOB 6/25/16 Male, Chocolate Point w/White, Siamese mix
Should NOT be an only kitten

Lotus came into rescue with his two siblings on the 2nd of July. He was just a few days old and didn't have a mom, so he was brought to me and I introduced the trio to the wonderful Momma Cat that I had. Momma was already caring for her six babies, who were a little older than Morgan and his siblings, but she took them right in and, with a little help from me, raised all nine as her own. I knew she had fully accepted them when the fireworks on the fourth of July made her move her babies under my nightstand, and she took all nine of “her” kittens and 'hid' them.
Lotus is a sweet, busy boy. He loves to wrestle and play with his siblings. He is an active kitten who loves to run fast. He doesn't mind being held, but doesn't often seek out a lap, ‘cause he is too busy! He loves to play with his siblings as well as the adult cats in the household. Lotus plays hard but then can be found sleeping in the middle of the floor, all played out.

Born about June 25th, Lotus will be ready for his forever home by mid- to late-September. He is Leukemia Virus negative and socialized with adult cats and a Labrador. Lotus will do best if he is adopted with one of his more outgoing siblings.

If you would like more information, please contact foster mom, April, at aprilfieldsrvt@gmail.com or send in an Adoption Application with your chosen kitten’s name.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
