Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If there was ever a dog that lived up to her namesake, Precious is it! This 4 year-old is an absolute baby doll with big, beautiful, brown eyes that shine with nothing but love. All this little lady wants is a life filled with belly scratches, cuddles, and kisses. Precious adores all people, big and small and prefers to spend her time following around her humans. She doesn’t much like when she cannot keep an eye on the people she loves and will loudly express her displeasure! Therefore, the ideal home for her would be one in which she is not expected to spend long amounts of time alone. She does well in a crate once she hears the car leave but if she knows you are home you are going to hear about it!
Precious has excellent manners; she is completely housebroken, knows sit & lie down, is gentle with children, respects the furniture (but will not turn down an invitation to snuggle on the couch), and always comes when called. She also loves to play and wrestle with other dogs provided she is the one in charge. She would do best with more submissive canine siblings. Precious can get protective over items she perceives as “hers” such as food and toys with other dogs but never with her humans. If another dog approaches she will growl to warn them off; however, she is currently fostered with 4 other dogs and this has been solved by feeding in her crate and supervised toy-time. She is a smart cookie and responds to redirection very well. We are not sure why this treasure found herself homeless but whatever the case it was their loss!
