Meet Rocky. He is a 5-6 year old 55 lb shepherd mix that came to Rover Rescue in 2012 and thru no fault of his own has been bounced around to 3 different homes. He is back to Rover due to a divorce and now is looking for his fur-ever home. He is a wonderful sweet gentle man. Rocky is housebroken and is let free in the house when no one is at home. He is out of the puppy stage and does not chew on things he should not. Rocky has been good with the other dogs in the house, both little and large. He has lived with cats in the past and is curious about them but leaves them alone when told to. Rocky is a bit shy and can be skittish at times so a calmer house with no little kids would be best for him. Once he trusts you, he wants nothing more than to cuddle. Rocky has fun playing and running in the fenced yard with the bigger dogs then taking a rest in the sun. Food with chicken upsets his stomach so he is now on a lamb and rice food which does not cost more. Rocky is up to date on immunizations and is neutered. If you want to know more about this wonderful dog please call Jen 630-801-3294. His adoption fee is $200.
