Meet Coco!

A Humane Officer was called when Coco's owner moved to a nursing home and her family failed to care for her dogs.  He was very loved by his owner, but she will not be coming home so he is now looking for a new person to love and call his own.

Coco is a male Pekingese.  He does have vision loss, but with eye medication he may regain some sight.  He definitely can hear... especially when a can of food is being opened!

Coco is 8 to 9 yrs old.  Good with other dogs and cats.   He does have some loss of hair due to having fleas.  The fleas are all gone now, thank goodness!  He just needs some time for his hair to grow back.

A quieter home with older or no kids is recommended for Coco.

Coco is currently on 2 different eye ointments that need to be given 3-4 times each day.  He needs someone that can be home to give the eye meds every 4-5 hours.  He will need a recheck with our vet in early September.
