Jackson - Adopted!'s Story...
Meet Jackson. Jackson is a one year old neutered male that will be in New England and available later this month. He is up to date on shots and heartworm negative.

Jackson was surrendered because there was another male our in the house and as he is maturing it just wasn't working out. This is why we encourage people to not get another our of same sex, 9 times out of 10 they won't be happy.

Jackson is great with female dogs and cats.

If you are interested in meeting this dog, please submit an application by emailing Lifesaversapps@outlook.com We will conduct a phone interview, check references and then schedule a home visit. This helps us to match a dog with their potential adopter. The adoption fee is $400.00 for adults and $450.00 for puppies under one year which includes spay/neutering if older than five months of age, up-to-date age appropriate vaccinations, flea/tick & heartworm preventative and a health certificate. We foster our dogs in homes, not in shelters. This allows us to get to know the dogs temperaments in order to match them to a home. This also allows us to get the dogs ready to live in their forever homes! All dogs coming from the south have been quarantined and vetted before traveling to New England! For more info please email Lifesaversapps@outlook.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jackson - Adopted!, a Ascutney Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Ascutney, or seeking a Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Ascutney.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ascutney already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ascutney breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ascutney paves the way for another one to be saved.
