Luvvy's Story...
Luvvy is a sweetheart. She currently lives in the Free Roaming Cat Room here at FACE. She loves her people, but she can get a little hissy with the other kitties. She also tested positive for FIV, so she would be best in a one cat household, or paired with another FIV cat. Cats with FIV can live happy healthy lives. We are happy to answer any questions about this condition, or you can read about it in this link http://pets.webmd.com/cats/cat-fiv-feline-immunodeficiency-virus.

Thank you for your interest in adopting a cat from FACE. The adoption fee is $25 for an adult cat over one year of age. They are all spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, and micro-chipped. You can find an adoption application at http://facespayneuter.org/adoptions/cat-adoption-application/ or if you have specific questions you can email us at adopt@faceanimalclinic.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luvvy, a Indianapolis Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Indianapolis, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Indianapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indianapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indianapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indianapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
