Dog's Name: Shiloh
Estimated Breed: Beagle Mix
Approximate Age: 1yr
Approximate Weight: 37lbs
Currently Living at: Boarding
Adoption Fee: $300
Say hello to Shiloh! Her owners had to give her up because they were moving & couldn't take her with them. Shiloh is house, crate, & doggy door trained. She loves children. She is very playful & loves to go for rides in the car! Shiloh is the perfect package, but for one thing. Shiloh must be introduced to other dogs appropriately and slowly. She gets along well with the dogs in her play group at the kennel, but is very dog reactive when she is on a leash. Shiloh is looking for a family that will work with her on leash reactivity. She currently isn't a good candidate for apartment living or the dog park. Shiloh is dreaming of nice home in the suburbs with a fenced yard. A home where she can be the queen bee. Could that home be yours?

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery, rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention, monthly flea/tick prevention, and our transport costs.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home. For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/?page_id=64 or email our Foster Coordinator at email@example.com
