This is Rupert.  Rupert is a 7 y.o. male house cat that was taken in as a stray kitten from Quarryville PA.  He is neutered, declawed and up to date on all vaccinations.  He is in great health and is an affectionate friendly cat.  Rupert spent his first few years of life with a Greyhound and is good with dogs.  Rupert will hide from a new dog and new people but does not take long for him to warm up to new environments.  Rupert loves to beg.  He must be part dog!  He loves to be around people when they are home but is not a “lap cat”.  Rupert will “tolerate” being held and hugged for a few minutes then will look to “escape”!  Rupert is great with kids as well and would be a great addition to a family home.

About Feline Rescue, Inc.

Our Adoption Process...

By adopting a Feline Rescue cat you will be supporting a caring, no-kill shelter and making room for one more homeless cat. We are always looking for good, safe, loving homes for our many cats and kittens. We want to be sure placements are a success for both parties, so before we send our feline friends home with anyone, we ask you to fill out a basic questionnaire. Since we work with cats everyday we will be able to suggest a perfect match to your needs. If a sponsorship fits your schedule better, you may support a cat of your choice and we will send you pictures and updates. All of our cats are feline leukemia/FIV tested, fecal tested, neutered/spayed, vaccinated and all of our kittens are vet checked, fecal checked and given their first set of shots. All receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. We charge an adoption fee to offset these costs. Adoption Hours: We are open seven days a week for adoptions, but our hours do vary because we are staffed entirely by volunteers. Call (651) 642-5900 for specific times and more information.
