Sir Spottington's Story...
Regal salutations! It is I… Sir Spottington. My name must be said with an air of royal dignity in order to properly portray my noble standing. Just kidding! I’m not the least bit high-class-snobby… I’m super outgoing, down-to-earth and make friends easily! Not only am I friendly, I am also a smarty-pants! I can “sit”, “shake” & “lie down” when asked… especially if you have a treat to reward me. I arrived as a stray in mid-July and am estimated to be a year and a half years old. I am tall & lanky for an Am. Staff, and have an abundance of energy! I would love to find a home with adults and maybe older kids like teenagers. I dream of having a jogging/walking partner who will enjoy getting plenty of exercise with me! I would likely be a bit ‘too much’ for smaller pets, but another dog my size may be acceptable. If you need some excitement in your life, please stop by and meet me today!

Please check with your homeowners insurance before adopting a ‘bully breed’ such as an American Staffordshire Terrier. Some silly insurance companies buy into the media hype about us dogs being bad. Apparently they have never experienced a sloppy happy Am Staff kiss! ;)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sir Spottington, a Menomonie American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Menomonie, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Menomonie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Menomonie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Menomonie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Menomonie paves the way for another one to be saved.
