We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in adopting from CCHS, you have to complete an online application at and we will contact you asap about the status of your application.

Parker came recently into our program from a very bad situation.  He is learning to know what love is and will need a little patience to get used to humans.  He walks very well on a leash and is learning to be crate and potty trained.  He has become in a short time attached to his foster mom but still afraid of male figures.  It takes him a little bit to trust humans because they had him living outdoor 24/7 with very little food.  Once he gets comfortable he does not leave your site.  He is current on vaccinations and will be neuter, HW tested and microchip on 09/14/16.  He will be tested with older kids this weekend. He weights 5.5 lbs ,needs to gain a little. He is one year old.

Parker wants to be love and pampered for the rest of his life.  He is looking for a family that would grant him all of his wishes.

Come Meet Our Pets...

To meet our pets, contact us about any dog/puppy you are interested in and we'll set up a meeting time/date between the adopter and foster home.

Our Adoption Process...

Adopters will complete an adoption app. If he/she has a pet, we will check their vet reference and a home visit is not needed (as long as the vet reference is current). All pets must be UTD , current on HW prev and S/N. If a home visit is needed we will compele that ASAP--as we don't want any delays in the adoption process. The adoption fee is $200 for dogs ad $250 for puppies. We spend an average of $300 on each dog/puppy, so the adoption fee helps pay for the vetting for future dogs we bring into the program. Their is a 5 day grace period to make sure he/she is a good fit for your family.
