I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Huck's Info...

I am already neutered, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and not good with cats.

Huck's Story...
If you think my head is big, you should see the size of my heart! Howdy friends, I’m Huck. I arrived as a stray in July and am estimated to be a 3 year old American Staffordshire Terrier mix. I can jump pretty high though, so I MAY be part kangaroo… but this has not been scientifically verified. I would love to find an active family with kids old enough to handle my bouncy kangaroo genes. Oh listen to this! So the staff has been telling me about this cool thing called ‘training classes’… and I am so very intrigued! Apparently I can go and bond with my new owner, meet other dogs, learn new things… AND there are even treats involved! How fun would that be?! My brother “Finn” was adopted in early November, and I am truly hoping my turn is next!

Please check with your homeowners insurance before adopting a ‘bully breed’ such as an American Staffordshire Terrier. Some silly insurance companies buy into the media hype about us dogs being bad. Apparently they have never experienced a sloppy happy Am.Staff kiss!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Huck, a Menomonie American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Menomonie, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Menomonie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Menomonie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Menomonie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Menomonie paves the way for another one to be saved.
