Sean's Story...
DOB 5/27/16
Dolly's babies are available for adoption! She looks like a Boston Terrier mix and is 28 lbs. She was in a high kill shelter where it was urgent she found a rescue to save her and her babies. One of our amazing foster moms stepped up and took her into their home. Dolly gave birth to 8 adorable babies, 7 boys and 1 girl. Since their foster mom has 8 grandchildren, 7 boys and 1 girl, these pups were named after them!
Looking for a very active, adventurous pup, then Sean might be a match for you!
He will need someone home most of the day to work with him on his training and socialization. Previous puppy experience is a plus.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sean, a Elgin Labrador Retriever/Plott Hound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Plott Hound for sale in Elgin, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Plott Hound puppy from a breeder in Elgin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elgin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elgin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Plott Hound breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Plott Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elgin paves the way for another one to be saved.
