**DUSTIN IS CURRENTLY FOSTERED IN PENNYSLVANIA.**
Dustin just turned 5, and is a curious, happy, funny boy who has high energy but can also settle down nicely. He knows the ‘sit’ command, but needs some work learning to come when called, as well as, continuing work on some other commands such as ‘off’ since he loves to jump.
Dustin does OK with other dogs once he gets to know them, but seems to prefer the company of his humans. He’s very food-oriented so strangers who offer treats will likely be allowed to pet him. He loves being outdoors but, like a typical minature pinscher, tends to bark at cats, squirrels, and chipmunks so may need redirection. A fenced in yard for running and jumping would be perfect for him! He loves to go for walks, and is getting much better on the leash.
He is completely housebroken and can make it through the night with no problem. Dustin loves toys, especially squeaky ones and enjoys chasing a squeaky ball outside. When not active and exploring, he loves to snuggle up next to you and let you rub his head, neck, and belly. If you stop before he’s ready to, he’ll nudge your hand with his head to let you know you should keep going! He’s a sweet and loving dog who needs physical and mental stimulation every day.
