Hi People,
My name is Sassy and my foster Mom says that I’m the cutest bichon ever. I’m a delicate and dainty girl weighing in at 11 ½ pounds and only five years old (or is that young?) I’m also quite the entertainer! I do this “twirly dance” on my hind legs when I want something which, according to both Mom and Dad, is completely adorable. I also love to be picked up and cuddled (isn’t that what laps are for?) anytime you are seated.
I am a girly girl who LOVES being groomed! (I start “melting” when you brush my head and neck until I’m practically doing a “headstand”) then I flop over so you can brush my chest! Although I’m dainty and delicate, love being groomed and cuddles, I’m not a couch potato! I have a BIG personality and my antics will keep you laughing all day long! For example, Mom and Dad have these big dogs (I think I’m the same size as they are!) so they have big dogs toys (some of which are almost as big as I am.) No matter! I shake them and shake them until the stuffing is flying everywhere. And I smile all the while, too!
When I get excited about something (like a walk, which I love to do!) I do these cute little lady-like sneezes, but no worries: our vet says there is nothing the matter with me – it’s just the way I express myself. And I easily walk for a mile which is how I keep so trim and adorable. I am a great rider (in the car, that is) and enjoy watching the world go by. Why, I’m even adorable when I go potty outside (since I’m a very good girl and I’m housebroken!) I do a little handstand when I go potty. Dad thinks it’s hilarious. (And boy do I have good balance!)
I’ll bet you think I sound special and indeed I am! I’m also on a special food (which I like a lot) because I had these things called ‘stones’. Well, they are all gone now and eating this food is what I do to prevent them from coming back. (And no thank you, Mr. Stones, I don’t want you back again either!) It’s not very expensive and I do like it so there you have it!
Mom says that you probably want to know what my name stands for, so here it is: “S” is for Snuggly, “A” is for Adorable, “S”is for SUPER, “S” is for Sweet, Smart and Sassy (I’m all of those!) and “Y” is for Young-at-heart.
