Good grief would you look at this dog! He's about as goofy as they come! His combination of breeds leads one to believe that mommy was probably sneaking around with the milkman because he certainly didn't come out as expected. 5 year old Crumb looks like a gorgeous block headed pit...until you see him stand up, then you see that his short little legs turn out with feet that look like they were borrowed from a basset hound. If you get a chance to watch him run, please do yourself a favor and do it. It will make your day, maybe even your life! He's that comical. However, he's also a dude, so please don't laugh at him. It will hurt his man ego, but if you do slip up and laugh he will forgive you quickly if you give him a treat, because he's hungry and he loves treats. Crumb loves tennis balls but he will easily trade you his ball for a treat. He also loves toys (maybe a little too much) and may not want to share them with the little ones if they try and grab them from him, so we would like to see him go to a home without young children. He enjoys playing fetch and he will thank you for all the fun by swinging his head around and letting the drool fly after a good game of fetch. No adopters that have issues with drool please, because Crumb drools. I haven't had him around other dogs one on one, but every dog he was around while we had him out he was nonreactive around. It looks like he may like other pups. Please bring your dog and the rest of the family to meet this silly looking, ball loving, treat stealing boy at Virginia Beach Animal Care and Adoption Center, 341 S Birdneck Road. He's waiting to meet you in the large dog adoption room, or you can ask us to bring him out to meet you by using his name and/or ID# 1608-0813 and we will be happy to bring him out to meet you! Thanks for considering adoption!
