Bella's Story...
Bella was an owner surrender that came from the local pound. She had no hair when she came in, the last picture is her at the pound. She was also very thin as we could feel her back hips. Today after some TLC she has her hair back and ready to start her new life. She loves to sleep next to her foster mum on the bed, a snuggler. She looks like a Min Pin/Chihuahua to us. She is about a year old and 10lbs. She is a bundle of energy that loves to play with the other dogs in the house or will play with toys on her own (can entertain herself). She would be great for a family or single person. We always recommend small dogs don't go to a house with very small children, as small children can sometimes be rough on a little dog. She is fixed, current on all shots, heartworm negative, micro chipped and on monthly prevention.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Hermitage Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua for sale in Hermitage, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Hermitage.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hermitage already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hermitage breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hermitage paves the way for another one to be saved.
