Trina's Story...
Hi, my name is Trina. I'm 4 years old & weigh 12 pounds. I'm a healthy, bubbly little girl with lots of personality. I have a super happy spirit & so much love to give. I love to follow you around and watch you cook (especially cleaning up what you might drop on the floor). I love to snuggle and give you kisses. I really love going for walks and sniffing around in the grass, and playing with other dogs. And I like cats too.

My favorite part of the day is going to bed and getting cozy in a blanket. I'm very loyal, but I love meeting new people too and I'm ready to settle into my forever home sweet home. Let's set up a date ~ http://chihuahuarescueofsandiego.com/adoption-application/. Love Trina xoxo

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trina, a San Diego Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
