Lucy's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Lucy's Story...
Lucy was surrendered to a high kill shelter in South Carolina when her owner died. Lucy has clearly been loved and the shelter was a scary place for her. Now safely in foster with 15 other dogs, Lucy has settled in and knows she's not in danger anymore. We just can't imagine why the family would give her up, she is a total love! Lucy gets along great with the other dogs and just loves, loves people. She weighs 18 lbs at about 3 years old. She has been the perfect house guest and is completely house broken. If you would like to show Lucy that love is forever with you, your first stp is to copy and paste this link to your web browser to fill out our online application, http://members.petfinder.com/~CT243/sampleform.html. Lucy has been spayed, is up to date on shots and is microchipped. Full vetting and transport up north is $375. We cannot be certain what her true mix is.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy, a Westport Rat Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Westport, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Westport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westport paves the way for another one to be saved.
