I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
This is Buddy, the 2 year old Yellow Labrador Retriever. This handsome boy came to us due to a family break up and we found that he was lacking in some socialization. Since then, foster mom has done an amazing job to help Buddy see that the world is a wonderful place, with lots of great smells and fun and places to run. He has been to the dog park, gone swimming in a lake, and walked down sidewalks. He is soaking up all the new experiences and is thriving.
Buddy does great in the home while foster mom is at work and only chews his doggy toys. He does have a lot of energy as normal for a young Lab, so an active home only for this boy. A fenced yard would be wonderful or, a home out in the country where someone can take him for trail walks etc. His recall has improved, and he has learned to stick close to foster mom.
He is fostered with another dog, and he gets along just fine with him, but so far Buddy has no interest in playing with other dogs. He is very people motivated and he just doesn't seem to know how to play with other dogs, so having another dog in the home is not a must. He would do just fine on his own, as long as he got his exercise.
Buddy is neutered/microchipped and up to date on his vaccines and been treated with Revolution. We'd like for him to go to a home with Lab experience where he can continue learning how to be a dog. He was raised with children, so he would do great as a family dog. His adoption fee is $350 and if you are interested in meeting Buddy, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for an application or you can find our application on our website www.angelarmsrescue.com
All of our animals are in loving foster homes, we are not a shelter, so an approved application must be on hand in order to set up a meet and greet. Thank you for understanding.
