Sunshine's Story...
This little girl is a ray of sunshine. Sunshine was saved from a high kill shelter in rural Georgia and has turned out to be a sweet, loving, playful and regal girl in her new foster. She just LOVES to play with other dogs and would do best in a home where there was another furry to play with. She also loves her people and would be a great addition to any family. Sunshine is about a year old and weighs 40 lbs. Her coloring is steel grey (is there any Weimaraner in her?) and in person her eyes are just gorgeous. If you can see this beautiful girl belongs in your family, your first step is to copy and paste this link to your web browser to fill out our online application, http://members.petfinder.com/~CT243/sampleform.html. Sunshine is up to date on shots and is spayed. Full vetting and transport up north included in her $400 adoption fee. We cannot be certain what her true mix is.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sunshine, a Westport Australian Cattle Dog/Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Cattle Dog for sale in Westport, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Westport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westport paves the way for another one to be saved.
