Though he is a Great Pyrenees mix, Buddha is not suitable as a livestock guardian. He was not raised around livestock. Buddha just wants to be your best friend and family dog. He is an alpha male, so he does not do well around other large male dogs, but he gets along fine with female dogs.
Buddha was born with a deformity in his legs, but make no mistake, he gets around just fine. He still walks, runs, and plays perfectly fine and requires no special care. Buddha is also a considerate guy who has great manners, and is a very sweet and loving dog who can't wait to have a family of his own.
Buddha is available for public adoption. That means that you do not need to be a Veteran to adopt him. If you are interested in meeting Buddha, please contact Painted Paws for Veterans.

Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply.
