Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cooper is an 8 year old Cocker Spaniel with more love to give than anyone could ever ask for. He would love nothing more than to spend every minute with his humans. He loves them all, big or small, male or female. If you have a lap, he will be your friend! He is fantastic in the car and has come on many excursions with his foster family. He is not a vocal dog, nor does he require much exercise. He does fantastic off leash and would be great in just about any housing or yard scenario. He has learned how to be in a crate when his humans are away, but would much prefer to be with them when they are home. Cooper had not ever been taught where and when to potty, so he does need continued support on house training. He has come a long way in the last month, but does best if kept on a consistent schedule. He wears a belly band around the house for those times his foster family gets preoccupied and misses his signals. Cooper entered rescue with a mouthful of infected teeth and gums and has since had significant dental work done. He has six adorable remaining teeth. This does not seem to interfere with eating dry kibble, but treats and bones are very limited for him. If you are looking for a companion animal, Cooper may be your guy. He gets along with other dogs and even cats, but will pick a human over any animal friends. This sweet, loving guy will make your heart swell within 5 minutes of meeting him, guaranteed!
